Tourism & Culture
Tourism and culture are inextricably linked, and from an economic perspective becoming more important than ever. As many aspects of our lives become increasingly globalized and homogenized, it is the distinctive elements of culture that define us and attract others to us, thereby creating the domestic and international tourism industries.
At Context, we have worked in many areas of tourism and culture. We built and maintain the website for the Ontario Trails Council that went from having no specific trail information to providing details on over 2,000 Ontario trails – the most comprehensive site of its kind in Canada.
Since 2006, we’ve had the pleasure of working with Moses Znaimer, creating the keepsake program guides for ideaCity, Canada’s premier 3-day thinkfest of inspiration.
We worked with Random House Canada to launch the annual Globe & Mail Open House Festival, a weekend of words and ideas that features some of the world’s most provocative and celebrated authors.
And we are very pleased that we have been chosen by Canada Post to design postage stamps and the highly collectable items that accompany them. That gives us our own little spot in our nation’s archives. It makes you proud.
