Principal, Director of Strategic Services
Andy’s career is based on solid advertising and marketing experience as an award-winning creative director for multi-national advertising agencies and interactive communications companies. He’s worked in all media including the Web, television, print, radio, outdoor, and direct marketing.
His agency experience includes Bates, McKim (now BBDO), and Ian Roberts. At those agencies, Andy produced campaigns for clients such as Canon, Motorola, Canadian Tire, Colgate, New Brunswick Tourism, and Delta Hotels.
While at McKim, Andy was the co-creator of the Hostess Munchies, a lasting concept which made Hostess the #1 selling potato chip in Canada. His billboard work for Cooper Sports earned him a place in the Mediacom Hall of Fame.
In 1989, Andy formed Red Line Design to work for clients such as Rogers, Sprint Canada, Fuji Film, CIBC, Ontario Ministry of Environment and Energy, and The Globe and Mail.
Six years later, Andy was one of the founders of Fireworks Creative, one of the first agencies in Canada to tightly integrate communications across all media – Web, print, and video. Clients included Office Specialty, Manulife Financial, Famous Players, and CIBC. In 2000, Fireworks Creative was acquired by Cognicase, one of Canada’s leading IT consulting companies.
Today at Context, Andy works with clients to define strategies, create compelling messages, and then deliver them in appropriate media.
Andy sits on the board of the Volunteer Centre of Toronto.
